Idea: The idea of creating this blog grew partly out of the wish to build a knowledge base for students of the University of Technology in Vienna (TU-Wien), and partly to provide the members of the Austro-Indian Association in Vienna with the latest news from India.  The growing number of Austrian companies dealing with India may also find the collection of links and comments helpful to update their knowledge about India.

About the blog: India is going through sweeping transformations on all levels. They are affecting both its own people and the world at large. This is a blog made for those who are interested in understanding the changes taking place in the country and the ripples they are creating in the world system. The vast complexity of the subcontinent offers a fascinating plethora of stories, that can be informative, educative and also entertaining!

Language: The contributions can be both in German and English.
